Two lawyers signing documents together at a meeting table

About the firm

A law firm that would rather settle than fight.

Ndlovu & Associates is a South African law firm that practises mediation before litigation, offering fast, affordable and quality legal assistance.

Who we are

Most disputes are better settled than fought. That belief shapes everything we do: we bring both sides to one table, keep the process fair, and finish with a written agreement that holds.

We act for individuals, families and businesses in family law, property, wills and estates, debt and credit, labour and employment, and claims. In most of these matters, a long court battle costs more, in money, time and relationships, than the dispute itself.

Where a matter cannot be settled, we say so plainly and represent you in court. Mediation is our first step, not our only one.

What we stand for

Settle fair & honest.

Fast, affordable and quality legal assistance, delivered fairly and honestly.

  1. 01 Fair Both sides are heard, and nobody is pushed into an agreement.
  2. 02 Honest Straight answers about where you stand, your options and the costs.
  3. 03 Fast Settling at the table avoids the long wait for a court date.
  4. 04 Affordable Fewer formal steps and less court time mean lower legal costs.

The settlement

Our mark

Two sides. One settlement.

Our mark is the letter N, drawn as two separate strokes, one for each side of a dispute.

Neither stroke reaches the other on its own. The gold piece in the middle completes the letter: the settlement that both sides reach together. That is the work we do.

Our process

How we work.

Every matter follows the same four steps, from the first conversation to a signed agreement.

  1. Step 01

    Consultation

Tell us what happened. We listen, read your documents and explain your options in plain language.

  2. Step 02

    Both sides at the table

We invite the other party to mediate. Mediation is voluntary, and both sides are heard.

  3. Step 03

    Fair negotiation

We keep the conversation fair and focused on terms that both sides can live with.

  4. Step 04

    Settled in writing

The agreement is written up and signed. In a divorce, it can be made an order of court.

Start a conversation

Tell us what happened. We’ll take it from there.

Send us a short description of your dispute. We read every enquiry and come back to you to arrange a consultation.
